Proven, two-step method for a great mood :)
1. First I'm doing a natural, fragrant body scrub (favorite recipes below)
2. And then a wonderful massage with a warm oil soy candle , which perfectly nourishes the skin, leaves it long soft, and at the same time quickly absorbed and smells very long (choose your fragrance HERE )
Natural body peels based on coconut oil
I will share with you 3 recipes that I particularly liked. They are all really simple to prepare, and the fun of using a hand-made cosmetic - priceless :)
Coconut oil and its properties
Peelings can be based on many types of oils, but I personally like coconut oil for this purpose, which has a solid consistency at room temperature (scrub has a better texture in my opinion), smells nicer than olive oil, and at the same time fantastically cares for the skin. It has moisturizing and oiling properties, smooths wrinkles, brightens discolorations, is effective in the fight against cellulite and stretch marks. It is also an oil for special tasks - it heals and eliminates inflammation, psoriasis and eczema ... Read more about coconut oil HERE

Sugar peeling with gingerThis peeling could basically be eaten, but I encourage you to use it on the skin :) Ginger has excellent properties for our body and skin, especially during the winter. It has anti-inflammatory properties and reduces redness Prepare: 1/4 cup coconut oil 3/4 cup sugar (thickness selected according to preferences) Heat the coconut oil and add ginger to it, heat it over low heat until the ginger aroma will combine with the oil (5-10 minutes), then take it off the fire and pour the oil through the coffee filter to get rid of the ginger particles. Add cold-pressed oil to the constantly hot coconut oil and stir well. When the oils cool, add salt and sugar and essential oil to them. After obtaining the right consistency, put the peeling into a jar with seal. From these proportions you will get 230-250ml of scrub. |

Salt peeling with limeThis scrub has a fantastically energizing effect, beautiful citrus smell, looks great, and thanks to the sea salt the skin regains its glow... A brilliant patent for the beginning of the day!
Prepare: 1 glass of salt (preferably marine) 1/2 cup of coconut oil 1 grated lime skin (scalded earlier and scrubbed)
Put all ingredients in a bowl, mix thoroughly to obtain the desired consistency. If the mixture is too dry for you, add coconut oil. When it's too wet, add salt :) Store in a tightly closed container.

Rose peelingAs the time is special (Valentine's) third recipe is a rose scrub to emphasize our feminine subtlety.
Prepare: 1 glass of salt (marine or Himalayan) 2 tablespoons of rose petals 1/2 cup of coconut oil 1-4 drops of a rose essential oil (optional)
Put the rose petals and salt into the blender and blend. Although the roses rarely smell intensely, the petals blended with salt smell beautifully! Then mix the whole with coconut oil and essential oil (if you like). Store the scrub in a sealed jar. |
Security
All scrubs contain oil. We recommend to be extremely careful when using the bathtub, as it can be very slippery!
Because coconut oil is not rancid, your cosmetics do not need to be stored in the fridge. They should serve you perfectly well for 1-2 months. Never use a cosmetic if its appearance or smell is not pleasant. Time to prepare a new portion :)
Valentine's Day is right behind the corner. I hope you will spend that day not only with your loved one but also in the company of our massage candles. Homemade scrubs, personally made can also be a great valentine gift idea;)
